But do you know the magic ingredient?

As leader your main job is simple – go for growth.

This is true for both the small business owner or the CEO of a bigger entity. Growth in profit can only come in a small number of ways and this basic recipe is the foundation of any sound expansion. A tweak in any part of the cycle is potentially growth promoting. No tweaks: no growth.

So, what is the magic ingredient? It is the ability to innovate in small ways continually; to test and respond; to challenge the status quo. The flair to think creatively is an innate ability – we all have it within us. However, we can block it by getting stuck in the ‘day to day’ and losing our Clarity through overthinking things. [See the previous post on the futility of brainstorming]. Fortunately, coaching can resolve that gap beneficially and permanently.

‘Being the best’ means you as leader are focusing your team’s attention on all of the sections in the diagram and going for the marginal gains that add up to significant uplift.

Want to unleash that inner potential that seems to be missing?
